When I am asked by non-Kids about THE VIBE, I usually answer it is Love, pure and simple. The love of the music, the love of people around you...but perhaps The Vibe is more correctly about energy. I'll try to explain it but I cannot do it justice with mere words:

When it's 4am in the morning, I hear the beat coming from the DJ and he's breaking it down, and I see other Kids on the floor feeling his flow and  the sound of the bass rolls :) up my body, and enters my heart and my head, fusing the two together...and I dance, not for anyone but myself and the love of everything around me...everyone is sharing this with me, and I look to my right and see someone breakin' and I look to my left and I see someone hitting every beat with every part of their body, and the looks on their faces--concentration mixed with exhilaration--and  I know that they feel is what I feel; and that everyone hearing the sounds coming from the tables feels what I feel and we are all together, black and white, male and female, rich and poor--we are all together at this very moment, hearing this very beat, feeling this very feeling--and it is no longer just a bunch of Kids dancing, but a living entity of energy and Love, each part moving in concordance with each other part; each part unconsciously synchronized...many become one...and this entity is born over and over on dance floors across the world...the beat becomes a part of my soul, the bass flows through my blood, the sweat drips from my forehead; I have become many at once, one soul connected to many souls connected to many souls connected to many more...
